According to the newspaper The Telegraph, Kieran Trippier's conversation with an acquaintance took place via WhatsApp, where Trippier stated that his friend could bet on his transfer.

The conversation
Friend: "Should I bet you will end up going there?"
Trippier: "You bet, buddy"
Friend: "100%, Trippier?"
Trippier: "Yes, man. Just don't blame me if something goes wrong, it shouldn't be. But, just so you know."

In this way, the Atlético de Madrid athlete went against the rules of the English Football Federation (FA), which fight to defend the integrity of football. In total, the lawsuit against the player has 41 pages and has more similar conversations with many words referring to the sports betting sector. In one of them, Trippier confirms to his friend that: "Come with me to Madrid to sign, buddy".

Despite the situation, on Sunday (3), FIFA accepted Atletico Madrid's request, leaving the player free to return to play while the case is still being analyzed. It is worth noting that the player's suspension was 10 weeks and a fine of 77,500 euros.
