Currently, we are in a scenario where the football leagues are trying to adapt to schedule a safe return to the pitch, with this Turkey intends to host the final leg of the Champions League by the end of August.

According to information from the head of the local football federation last Wednesday (06), the return of domestic leagues will happen by the 12th of June, following the appropriate guidelines: without fans present and behind closed gates.

After the two-month period which European football is postponed by UEFA, the body agreed to raise the issue again.

Nihat Ozdemir, current president of the Turkish Football Federation (TFF), says that the final events of Europe's elite club tournament are finally being planned to take place in late August. There is still no more detailed data on the subject, until UEFA releases further information.

“God willing, we will complete our own leagues at the end of July. We will finish our cups on the pitch and then we will end the season with the Champions League final in August" - said the president.

According to the statements, the Super League returns June 12th and will end on July 26th. With matches taking place in their own cities and stadiums.

The beginning of this week served for the main Turkish football clubs to return to small sessions of unlimited training, respecting the measures established by the TFF.
